For as long as Matthew can remember, he has been immersed in a world of creation and craft. At an early age, he knew what material he wanted to expand his skills and creative ideas with.
Learning fabrication and engineering skills from his father in his early teenage years, Matt expanded on this, and at the first opportunity at the age of 16, he began his training at Warwickshire College under the guidance of an experienced Master blacksmith. He further went on to work with various other skilled blacksmiths, immersing himself in different techniques and styles. Concurrently, he dedicated himself to honing his craft, realising that authentic learning springs from hands-on practice and genuine experience.
In 2014, Matt proudly established his own Cotswold forge and is deeply devoted to crafting exceptional, personalised, and hand-forged designs that are meticulously tailored to suit the unique preferences and styles of each individual.
